A message from INGVAR RONDE

EDITOR OF THE MALT WHISKY YEAR BOOK

An important part of my work as the editor of the Malt Whisky Yearbook is to stay up to date with distilleries around the world and not least the ones in Scotland.

At least two to three times a year I come back to tour the Scottish distilleries, exploring the new and re-visiting the established ones. It is a tight itinerary and for me to stay focused and sharp I’ve come to realise I need someone to book all the accommodations and take me around to all the distilleries. I’ve done my last five tours together with Marcus as my wingman and I couldn’t be happier. Apart from practical things (lodging, ferry tickets and getting from A to B on time) I soon realised that Marcus is the perfect company when I need to relax in the evenings with a pint or two and a meal. Not to mention enjoying a pleasant time in the car.
